ITAD/Processor Sales Account Manager

We are looking for a talented, driven, proactive and team orientated salesperson for the ITAD/ Processor Account Manager role that thrives in a fast-paced software sales environment.  This role is remote and will require occasional travel to prospects/clients and industry events nationwide UK&I and in some instances across EMEA. 


The role will jointly report into the Processor Sales Director and Regional Director UK&I. 




About the role 


The sales account manager plays a lead and fundamental role in achieving our ambitious net-new customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives from current clients. 

  

The role requires a hunter mentality with consultative selling skills within the ITAD / Mobile Processor market segments.  

 

The key aspects of the role include: 

  • Utilize our proven process to qualify and manage inbound and self-generated leads 
  • Carry out our strategic plan in alignment with the Processor Director, for new business acquisition, cross sell/up-sell and account retention strategy. 
  • Building relationships and operating as a trusted advisor consultant to our customers and partners. 
  • Expanding the Mobile Processor & ITAD customer footprint across the product portfolio. 




Key Responsibilities 


  • Source net new sales opportunities through inbound leads along with outbound calls and emails. 
  • Manage and grow assigned accounts. 
  • Manage, track and report on internal lead/activity metrics. 
  • Dealing with customers from small – medium – large businesses with the same professionalism and focus. 
  • Maintain and build knowledge of ITAD/Refurbished market industry trends, including regulatory and compliance requirements. 
  • Direct quota management and forecasting of business pipeline on weekly cadence with Processor Director. 




Key Experience 


  • Proven ITAD/Mobile Processor environment experience: - selling to 3PL, 4PL, IT Refurb/Recyclers, Device Retailers, BuyBackTradeIn Platforms, Mobile Operators, Mobile Insurers, On-line Marketplace, Diagnostics and Repair vendors, IT Leasing companies.  Electronics IT Retailers (in-store and on-line). 
  • Track record of Quota over-achievement. 
  • Expert in consultative selling and strong skills in asking questions beyond the obvious 
  • Strong phone presence. 
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools. (Office 365). 
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM. 
  • Understanding of sales cycles, including stakeholder mapping and key account planning.  
  • Prior sales methodology training. 




 Required Skills and Qualifications 


  • Minimum 5 years software sales experience. 
  • Ability to comfortably work remotely and travel to customers / events in the UK & Eire on a regular basis and abroad as and when required. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills. 
  • Strong listening and questioning skills. 
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively 
  • Background from a similar software vendor or ITAD/Mobile processor service provider environment.
