ROLE: Accounting Coordinator- Contract

The candidate is responsible for assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the company’s accounting records.  The candidate will follow financial procedures and ensure financial compliance during the preparation of the company’s financial statements.  This position will report directly to the Controller.


Location: Remote


    Prepare and post journal entries accordingly

    Assist in the preparation of consolidated internal financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and departments

    Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential

    Enter accounting-related information into business systems

    Accomplishes accounting department and organization mission by completing tasks as assigned

    Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations

    Assist in gathering documentation and records for external auditors

    Prepare documentation for external and internal auditors

    Assist with the management of all financial records

    Experience with NetSuite is a plus but not required

    Familiarity with asset-light SaaS business models and/or healthcare is a plus


REQUIREMENTS: 


    Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required

    At least two years’ experience in accounting, finance, or a related field

    Strong mathematical, organization, and analytical skills are a must

    Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams

    Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

    Excellent attention to detail

    Ability to read and analyze financial reports

    Deadline-Oriented 

    Excellent Time Management
