Job description

Ardanis is seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing cloud infrastructures on AWS, promoting best practices in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and driving automation in our workflows. You will work closely with development and operations teams to enhance the performance and stability of our applications and services. Responsibilities

Manage AWS infrastructure to support applications and services.
Automate deployment processes using CI/CD tools to ensure seamless software delivery.
Perform the role of a configurator for our fully managed Amazon MSK service
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively to maintain high availability.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of code and infrastructure.
Implement best practices for security, backup, and disaster recovery.
Document processes and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in a DevOps role with a focus on AWS cloud services.
AWS Ecosystem Knowledge, AWS MSK Kafka
Experience working with NAT gateways, VPN, TGW and VPC in AWS
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform.
Experience in working real-time data streams using AWS Kinesis and AWS Kinesis Firehose
Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and monitoring solutions.
Experience working with Java or any other object-orientated programming language
Experience with development deployment tools such as Maven , github and github actions
Experience working with AWS CloudWatch and external logging on Datadog or Splunk
AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and embrace new technologies.
