Requirements and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst with 5-6 years of experience in the Financial Domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in authoring test cases/scripts, executing tests, and providing critical analysis on requirements for both project-based and support-related activities. The role requires expertise in applications using Kafka and REST APIs, a solid understanding of automation testing, and the ability to contribute to improving code quality and test coverage.

What you'll do

• Author comprehensive test cases and scripts to validate functionalities and requirements.
  
• Execute tests effectively for both project deliverables and support-related tasks.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and provide feedback on their completeness and testability.
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of testing needs.
• Leverage technical skills to design, develop, and maintain automated tests.
  
• Provide input and ideas for improving test automation frameworks and identifying opportunities for automation.
  
• Identify areas to improve application code quality through increased unit and integration test coverage.
• Provide accurate estimates for all QA efforts, including test case design, test scripting, test execution, and defect correction.
• Participate actively in project ceremonies, meetings, and team sessions.
  
• Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of
• QA activities into the development lifecycle.
• Assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing test environments to ensure they are used effectively throughout the testing process.
• Understand customer quality metrics and use this knowledge to drive quality improvements.
  
• Identify and act on opportunities to enhance application performance and quality.

What you'll bring

• 5-6 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on the Financial Domain.
  
• Proven experience in testing applications that leverage Kafka and REST APIs.
  
• Hands-on experience in designing and executing automated test cases.
  
• Strong analytical skills to interpret requirements and identify gaps in functionality and test coverage.
  
• Experience providing accurate time estimates for QA activities, from test design to defect resolution.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively within Agile teams and participate in ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  
• Familiarity with unit and integration testing practices to ensure robust application performance.
