We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Director to develop & lead our Cardiac Arrhythmia Monitoring sales division in Southern Europe.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and implementing strategic sales initiatives, managing, and motivating the sales team, and expanding market share across key Southern European territories.

The role requires a deep understanding of the Cardiac Arrhythmia market, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with the International leadership teams in developing a vision and strategic plan to guide the expansion of Zio within your prescribed region.
  • Drive and represent iRhythm’s values and mission.
  • Foster effective teamwork across the international organization
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business objectives and revenue targets within prescribed region.
  • Hire, lead, mentor, and motivate the sales teams to ensure the attainment of sales goals and objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and market penetration.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, hospitals, clinics, insurance companies and other relevant institutions within the Cardiac Arrhythmia domain
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between sales, marketing, and product development efforts.
  • Provide regular sales reports and analysis to the executive leadership team, outlining progress, challenges, and opportunities within your region.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of effective pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and product launches to drive sales and market expansion.
  • Identify opportunities for local partnership to accelerate speed to market.
  • Travel frequently within your region to provide guidance, support, and foster strong relationships with local sales teams and clients.

About you: 

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in cardiology/cardiovascular medical device sales
  • A minimum of 5 years of senior-level experience managing people and resources
  • In-depth knowledge of the Cardiac Arrhythmia market, including industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in Digital Healthcare market
  • Proven success in driving sales growth, expanding market share, and developing successful sales strategies in the assigned region.
  • Established connections with professionals in the cardiology industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams within the assigned regions.
  • Demonstrated exemplary leadership, coaching, and business skills while developing and managing business relationships in the medical device market.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a high energy, fast-paced & dynamic environment, and effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Requires a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, decision-making and self-direction to accomplish multiple goals of client practices and solutions.
  • Fluent in English
  • Located in Spain with an ability to travel, dependent upon location and demands of the business.

Desirable/Preferred:

  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification
  • P&L experience
  • Experience in innovative procurement such as Value Based Health Care
  • Desirable fluent in additional European languages e.g Italian

This is a full time, remote working in Spain role.
