About our Team:

  • We are a small team within the wider Design team who champions the Sage brand. We are responsible for crafting professional User Interface designs for all of Sage’s corporate, cross-pillar, and imprint products across the globe.
  • We work very closely with a wide range of departments from Product Innovation, Marketing, and Technology to name a few.

Could you be our new UI Designer? Are you?

  • A creative individual that can support in crafting responsive UI designs.
  • Preferred 1+ year UI design experience and a strong portfolio showcasing outstanding design skills and creativity.
  • Proficient experience with UI and prototyping tools, such as, Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC, InVision.
  • Experience in working with a pre-defined Design System/Style Guides
  • A pro-active UX/UI problem-solving individual with strong attention to detail
  • Qualification in UI design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related.
  • Proven effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well independently as well as in a team.

Your new role:

  • You will support the day-to-day UI tasks and support the Lead UI designer on projects to deliver tasks on time.
  • Converting basic responsive wireframes into high-fidelity interactive prototypes using pre-defined Style Guides.
  • Creating ad-hoc icons using an icon grid.
  • Conducting UAT testing to ensure the final site designs are consistent with the delivered UI designs.
  • Ensuring all designs adhere to WCAG AA accessibility standards.
  • Communicating ideas with rationale to other designers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all design work is on brand.
  • Establish and maintain strong connections with the team, UX designers, product managers and developers.
  • Keep up with trends in the industry, technology, and UI standard methodologies.
