The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Campaign Strategy to lead our marketing efforts in developing and executing innovative campaign strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and sales impact. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of analytical skills, strategic vision, organization aptitude and leadership capabilities to guide a team of marketing professionals in delivering impactful campaigns across multiple channels. This leader spends time aligning to segment and product marketing leaders to deliver on commitments aligned to our priorities.

This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S.

The Main Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive campaign strategies that align with the organization’s goals and target audience. Utilize corporate strategy guidance and data analysis to inform decisions.
  • Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
  • Cross-Channel Campaign Development: Oversee the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, and traditional advertising, ensuring a cohesive brand message.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management and making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Budget Management: Manage campaign budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to maximize ROI across all marketing initiatives.
  • Paid Media Management: Develop and optimize paid media strategies across platforms to maximize reach and ROI. Analyze performance data to make informed adjustments to campaigns.
  • Email Marketing Strategy: Lead the strategy and execution of email marketing campaigns, ensuring targeted messaging and segmentation to enhance engagement and conversion rates. Monitor key performance metrics and refine approaches based on results.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product marketing, content and creative, campaign captains and orchestration to create a strategy that aligns to our joint priorities.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Present campaign strategies and performance updates to stakeholders, gathering feedback and adjusting strategies as necessary.
What We Look For in a Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role focused on campaign strategy.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across various channels, particularly in paid media and email marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, including CRM systems, analytics software, and project management tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Comfort speaking to executives
Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

$128,310 - $171,080 in these states: AR  ID  KY  LA  ME  MS  NE  SC  SD 
$135,060 - $180,080 in these states: AL  AZ  FL  GA  IA  IN  KS  MO  MT  ND  NM  OH  OK  PA  TN  UT  VT  WI  WV  WY 
$141,820 - $189,090 in these states: CO  HI  MI  MN  NC  NH  NV  OR  RI 
$148,570 - $198,090 in these states: AK  CA  CT  DC  DE  IL  MA  MD  NJ  NY  TX  VA  WA
