Job description

 

Client Service Officer – Hornsby Local Court

 

  • Location – Court Services, Hornsby Local Court
  • Salary ranging from $70,694 pa to $76,857 pa + super and leave loading

 

Recruiting now to create a talent pool to fill roles as they arise at Hornsby Local Court.  There is currently one vacant Temporary Part Time role 2 days per week working Monday and Tuesday (not negotiable). There may be the requirement to work at Burwood, Newtown and/or Manly should the need arise. Please note there is no work from home option.

 

Opportunities may be Ongoing or Temporary, Full Time or Part Time depending on current and future vacancies. 

 

Your role

As a Client Services Officer with Court Services, you will provide a range of clerical and administrative services including but not limited to, responding to customer enquiries, data entry and records management.

You will assist with the effective operation of Court rooms, perform complex administrative services to meet statutory obligations and deliver high quality professional services to clients.

Working as a member of a team, you will liaise with a wide range of stakeholders to provide high level clerical and administrative support services.  Your familiarity and confidence with core office software applications or other technology will see you succeed in this role.

 

What you’ll do

In this role, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Supporting the efficient operation of the court including liaising effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Anticipating the requirements of the judiciary and other key stakeholders in the courtroom environment and provides a timely and effective response
  • Providing a high level of clerical and administrative support to the court and registry
  • Using computer systems to accurately enter data
  • Providing high quality client services
  • Supporting the effective implementation of improved work practices
  • Adapting to work in different court jurisdictions
