JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Opportunity

The Microsoft Co-sell representative will be responsible for leading the co-selling efforts of Commvault Cloud Solutions with Microsoft. Co-selling involves partnering with Hyperscalers to sell complementary products and services to mutual customers. The Microsoft Co-Sell Manager is responsible for building and nurturing the relationships with Microsoft sellers while developing and executing co-selling strategies to drive revenue growth. The measure of success for this role will be a co-sell rep’s ability to activate Microsoft sellers by getting them to pull us into more accounts, support us in all sales opportunities, and drive Commvault solutions thru the Azure Marketplace.

What You’ll Do…

  • Work closely with Microsoft to identify and prioritize target accounts and opportunities for SaaS sales to hit and exceed revenue targets
  • Develop and implement joint go-to-market strategies that demonstrate the strengths of both our company and the partner's platform
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key collaborators within Microsoft, including sales, marketing, and technical teams
  • Provide training and support to the cloud partner sales teams to enable them to optimally sell our SaaS solutions
  • Collaborate with our internal sales teams to ensure alignment and coordination of efforts with the partner
  • Track and report on progress against sales targets, finding opportunities for improvement and course correction as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments to advise and guide sales strategy and approach
  • Represent our company at partner events and conferences to promote our solutions and develop new partnerships
  • Focused responsibility will be assigned to one specific Cloud Hyper-Scaler. (Microsoft, GCP, AWS, OCI).

Who You Are…

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in software sales or partner/channel sales
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing and the software industry
  • Shown ability to build and maintain positive relationships with key collaborators
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate sophisticated concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and lead multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend events/conferences
