Specialist Java/Golang Developer

As a Specialist Developer on our team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our software by driving the planning, design, development, and testing of cutting-edge applications and systems. You’ll work with a modern tech stack including Go, MongoDB, and AWS to enhance existing platforms and spearhead new projects. • Are comfortable with encryption schemes, modern APIs, and front-end frameworks

• Have worked on agile teams to deliver software iteratively

Experience you’ll bring:

• Significant and demonstrable development experience

• Experience with Golang or Java, MongoDB, AWS, and Terraform

• Demonstrable experience developing internal/external web services

• Demonstrable experience writing well-formed unit, component, and integration tests and have an in-depth understanding of the test pyramid

• Demonstrable working understanding of at least one modern web framework

• Demonstrable working understanding of NoSQL and SQL datastores

• BDD knowledge; 

• Can demonstrate critical thinking skills through past accomplishments;

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

It would be nice if you:

• On projects or open-source work you have contributed to in your own time

• Experience with systems engineering and automation
