Summary:


This role is responsible for managing the development process of high-quality learning products; project management; training and management of Subject Matter Expert (SME) workflows; management of all content assets for assigned projects; and contributing to on-time delivery of products.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Support the day-to-day development of content assets for a given project with SMEs, authors, and other contributors with a focus on innovation and quality.
  • Content assets include narrative text, cases, labs, simulations, assessment, interactives, video development, and instructional resources.
  • Hire and train third-party resources to create and finalize content assets.
  • Ensures on-time delivery of all content assets needed for assigned learning products.
  • Work with the Content Development team and contribute to the course design process that defines the user stories, audience needs, and technical learning outcomes.
  • Ensure content assets are authored consistently according to CompTIA guidelines, publishing processes, and best practice workflows for product delivery.
  • Careful management, categorization, and tagging of all assets with appropriate metadata.
  • Intimate understanding of how assets operate within the learning platform.
  • Proofread, edit, and perform quality control reviews of learning content.
  • Support the continued quality and technical accuracy of content assets, including responding to support tickets related to assigned products.
  • Assist the team in preparing or handling common administrative tasks such as processing invoices and drafting contracts.
  • Ensure and enforce style guidelines for all content asset types standard rules for grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, style, and clarity.


Key Performance Metrics:


  • Ensure content meets quality standards and is the appropriate scope for the desired audience.
  • Implement initiatives that reduce development time.
  • Deliver course content on time and within budget.


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Project Management experience in IT, publishing, or related field.
  • Comfortable leading virtual training sessions with third-party vendors or individual contributors.
  • Knowledge of best practice learning and development methods.
  • Attention to Detail.
  • Collaborating with Others.
  • Familiarity with software platforms including Content Management Systems (CMS) and learning delivery platforms.
  • Experience with working with and managing contributors for on-time delivery and quality control.
  • Proven experience managing deadlines.
  • Passion for education and learning.


Education and/or Experience:


  • Degree preferred but not required for the role
  • 3+ years of direct experience in related field
