Technical Writer (Contract)

Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.

Summary

Join our team to play a pivotal role in integrating Copilot into the Viva product, with a specific focus on Viva Engage and its integration into other Microsoft 365 products like Microsoft Teams. As part of this role, you will be responsible for reviewing content requests, collaborating with developers and product managers, analyzing data on content performance, and ensuring documentation accuracy through hands-on validation.

Job Responsibilities

Organize material and complete writing assignments following established standards for clarity, style, and terminology.
Maintain accurate records and revisions of work.
Collaborate with clients to determine technical specifications and subject matter for publication.

Requirements

5-7 years of experience in the field required.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, technical writing, UX, or English preferred.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Experience in creating documentation for a technical audience.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Additional Details

Location: Remote
Duration: 8 Months
Pay Range: $41.50 - 47 per hour
