Job Summary:  
We are seeking a Contracts and Budgets Associate to support the day-to-day operations of our Contracts and Budgets team. This role involves assisting with various study startup tasks and ensuring that our internal processes and timelines are adhered to. This position can be based in any IMA office location or be a remote work-from-home role, anywhere in the US. This position is not considering candidates from New York City, Chicago, California, Colorado, or Washington states currently. 
The salary range for this position is $40,000- $50,000 annually depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Documentation & Tracking: Track and document study startup activities within internal systems for stakeholder review, ensuring data accuracy and consistency from study award through activation.
  • Timeline & Performance Management: Support study startup timelines by meeting key performance indicators, escalating issues as needed to prevent delays.
  • Contract & Budget Support: Assist in creating, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing contract and budget documents, including work orders, amendments, and budget grids.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams and external partners to facilitate efficient study startup processes, maintaining clear communication on timelines, tasks, and document completion.
  • Maintain Confidentiality & Integrity: Support the filing and management of regulatory, contract, and budget documents while upholding a strict standard of confidentiality.
 
Education & Experience: 
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • General knowledge of contract and budget negotiation processes, with a working knowledge of Regulatory/IRB guideline.
