THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Senior Manager, Creative Operations at Caraway will play a vital role in driving the creative process and ensuring the efficient delivery of all creative assets across multiple channels. As a key player within our Creative team, you will manage project workflows, drive timelines, and support resource allocation, ensuring that creative work aligns with our brand vision, strategy, and timelines. This role sits at the intersection of creativity and project management, connecting the dots between Creative, Marketing, Growth, Digital Product, and Retail teams, keeping  organization, process, and structure top-of-min in  a fast-paced, highly creative environment. You’ll lead the charge in optimizing our creative processes, from brief intake & conceptualization to final delivery, helping to streamline workflows, enhance cross-functional collaboration, and foster clear communication.

WHO YOU ARE:
You are a highly organized creative operations professional passionate about managing workflows, timelines, and processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. With experience in creative operations and project management, ideally within consumer goods or in-house creative teams, you have a sharp eye for detail and an understanding of the creative process from concept to final delivery. You balance operational efficiency with creative vision, ensuring projects are delivered on time and in alignment with brand strategy.

You thrive in cross-functional environments, acting as the bridge between Creative, Marketing, Digital Product, and Growth teams ensuring seamless communication and workflow alignment. Proactive and solution-oriented, you manage resources effectively, balancing team capacity while maintaining high-quality output.

Aligned with Caraway’s mission for non-toxic living and sustainability, you drive operational excellence, leveraging data to improve processes and build onboarding resources. With strong communication skills, you foster collaboration and continuous improvement, elevating Caraway’s creative storytelling and consumer experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage Creative Project Workflows: Oversee the end-to-end process of creative project execution, from intake to final delivery. Ensure timely, high-quality creative output while managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Optimize & Develop Creative Processes: Identify opportunities to refine and improve existing creative workflows while also developing new processes to enhance efficiency, speed, and output quality. Continuously build, implement, and maintain standardized processes, templates, and tools to support both optimization and innovation in operations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Coordination: Act as the bridge between Creative, Marketing, Digital Product, and Growth teams to facilitate effective communication and seamless workflows. Align project goals and creative output with overall brand strategy and business objectives.
  • Resource & Capacity Management: Monitor team bandwidth and project capacity to allocate resources effectively, balancing project loads and ensuring creative deliverables meet expectations without overwhelming team members.
  • Facilitate Project Briefs & Creative Kickoffs: Work closely with stakeholders to develop comprehensive project briefs, ensuring creative objectives are clear and actionable. Lead creative kickoff meetings and ensure all teams are aligned on project goals and timelines at all stages of progression.
  • Drive Creative Quality & Consistency: Uphold Caraway’s brand standards across all creative work by ensuring quality, consistency, and brand alignment in all outputs.
  • Performance & Process Measurement: Collaborate with project owners to define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for creative projects. Track progress and analyze outcomes to inform decision-making, identify bottlenecks, and continuously enhance creative workflows and processes. Utilize data-driven insights to support improvements and drive operational excellence.
  • Develop Training & Onboarding Materials: Build out training resources and onboarding guides for the Creative team to streamline team integration, process adoption, and workflow efficiency.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify project risks, escalate issues, and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential challenges that could impact creative timelines and deliverables.
  • Support a Collaborative Team Culture: Foster a team culture that values creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Encourage transparent communication, problem-solving, and alignment on shared goals.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • 6+ years of experience in creative operations, project management, or a related field, preferably in-house at a creative agency or consumer goods brand.
  • Strong project management skills with experience overseeing multiple creative projects and managing complex timelines and workflows.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong eye for detail.
  • Strong understanding of the creative process, from brief to concept, design, and delivery.
  • Proficient in project management software and collaboration tools such as Asana, Monday.com, Trello, Slack, and Google Suite.
  • Excellent communicator (verbal and written) with the ability to build relationships, bridge gaps between teams, and provide clear direction.
  • Ability to balance creative vision with operational efficiency, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Problem-solver with a proactive mindset, able to anticipate potential challenges and drive resolutions effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment, with an ability to adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration and open communication across teams.
  • Passion for home goods, design, and creative storytelling that aligns with Caraway’s brand values and mission.

The anticipated base salary range for this role ​is $100,000 - $120,000 - Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors determining the base pay at offer, including but not limited to: skills, qualifications, experience. This range provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
