We are currently seeking a Remote Java Developer with a strong background in Java development, Spring Framework and particularly, experience in working with PDF files from Java Applications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Design, develop, and maintain the java code around parsing/scraping/generating/e-signing PDF files
• Experience with using the different java libraries for manipulating PDF type content (iText, pdfBox, …)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Proven experience using PDF files in Java applications.
• Experience with Spring Framework.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in health industry (HL7, FHIR api)

• Must have access to stable, reliable internet access.
