We are seeking dedicated Legal/Judicial transcription professionals with substantial experience transcribing depositions and hearings. This is a completely remote role for Independent Contractors, allowing for a flexible work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings
  • Process audio recordings with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring adherence to specific style guides
  • Deliver verbatim transcripts reflecting the precise dialogue and legal terminology

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription
  • Strong listening abilities and outstanding literacy skills, including excellent spelling and grammar
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Proficient typing skills in both speed and accuracy
  • Capacity to process sensitive audio/text content, including potentially offensive material
  • Familiarity with legal terminology is essential
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment
  • Must successfully pass a background check
