Job Title: Accounting Manager

Location: Remote

Schedule: Full-time

Salary Range: \(110,000.00 - \)135,000.00

We invite exceptional candidates to apply for the role of Accounting Manager within our esteemed organization. This is a significant position that combines leadership, mentorship, and hands-on accounting responsibilities, presenting an outstanding opportunity for professional growth and influence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements across a varied portfolio, ensuring adherence to our closing calendar.
  • Lead, mentor, and train your team throughout the month-end close process, promoting a culture of excellence and achievement.
  • Implement and supervise accounting controls, policies, and practices, while assisting in their formulation.
  • Review and support complex accounting tasks, including preferred return calculations and fixed asset accounting.
  • Contribute to the preparation of annual Federal Tax Returns and provide audit support documentation for external CPA firms.
  • Collaborate closely with the property management team on financial reporting, special projects, and accounting training initiatives.
  • Assist in the budget preparation process alongside the accountant and property management teams.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity. Experience in the real estate sector is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Yardi is a plus.
  • Strong financial analysis and interpretation capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail, adaptability, and a passion for organization are imperative.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
