The Role:

This opportunity is for a highly skilled Senior Backbase Backend Developer who specializes in Java and .NET technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend systems using Backbase technology, contributing to high-impact projects that enhance customer engagement and business operations. This is a key position within the development team, where leadership in problem-solving and a deep understanding of backend architectures are valued. Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend systems using Backbase, Java, and .NET technologies.
Design, implement, and optimize APIs and microservices architecture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Ensure code quality through best practices, including code reviews and automated testing.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend performance issues.
Contribute to the overall architecture and technical direction of the project.
Provide mentorship to junior developers and actively participate in team discussions.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in backend development using Java and .NET.
Proven expertise in Backbase technology (2+ years recent experience), with a track record of successful project implementations.
Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
Solid experience with of Spring and Spring extensions, like Web MVC, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience developing large-scale distributed systems.
Experience working on a SaaS platform or with Service-Oriented Architectures.
Experience with cloud technologies, e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Solid Client-facing skills.
Experience dealing with security and systems that handle sensitive data.
Fintech experience is a big plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
