Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, A law firm in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a dedicated Estate Planning/Estate Administration Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will focus on foundational estate planning and occasionally oversee probate and trust administration matters. This role involves designing comprehensive estate plans, providing exceptional customer service, and collaborating with the firm's founder on estate plan drafting and updates. The position requires a mindset conducive to remote work, collaboration, and growth.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign and draft estate plans for new clients, utilizing the firm's streamlined drafting system.Assist in coordinating updates and modifications to existing estate plans.Oversee trust administration and probate matters for occasional estate administration cases.Manage engagements from initiation to completion, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to legal standards.Provide superior customer service to clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.Collaborate with the firm's founder and other team members to enhance estate planning services.Stay updated on changes in estate planning laws and best practices to ensure compliance and effective client representation.Requirements2+ years of experience in estate planning, trusts, probate, and/or wealth management.Proven track record in designing and implementing estate plans.Prior experience with estate planning, whether professional or personal.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple engagements effectively.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Licensed in California or eligible through the Registered Military Spouse Attorney program.An unblemished ethics background.Education and CertificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California Bar or eligibility through the Registered Military Spouse Attorney program.SkillsProficiency in estate planning and administration, including trusts and probate matters.Experience with estate planning software and drafting systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment.Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.Benefits OfferedContributions toward health benefits.401(k) plan with firm contributions.Incentive program.
