Senior Supply Chain & Logistics Planner

The Opportunity

Are you a Senior Supply Chain & Logistics Planner with a passion for driving results and making things happen? We have an exceptional opportunity for you! The successful candidate will oversee all Supply Chain functions related to inventory and inbound logistics for products across Permobil APAC countries. There will be flexibility to lead and engage the Supply Chain Team, bring your critical thinking and skills to contribute to continuous improvement plans.

Role

The Supply Chain team is based in Sydney Australia; however, this role is a regional Asia/Pacific role therefore the right individual can be based anywhere within this region. Applicants residing in the regions below are welcome to apply:

Key Responsibilities

Leading

  • Manage and lead a team of 2 Supply Chain Planners
  • Mentoring and training planners
  • Develop and executing long term supply strategies
  • Continuous improvement of Supply Chain processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency
  • Leading and facilitating S&OP monthly meetings
  • Leading cross-functional and cultural teams to mitigate risks and resolve supply issues
  • Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships globally and locally to facilitate timely order and supply of quality goods

Day to day Duties

  • P ortfolio Management within the S&OP process
  • Manage the additional complexity of local assembly/configuration requirements in the demand planning
  • Manage product lifecycle activities e.g. product launch, phase in/phase out regular ordering of inventory from suppliers
  • Work closely with commercial stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration (including run out plans where necessary) of new and existing products to minimise obsolescence costs and customer impact
  • Manage the inbound logistics of all overseas and local shipments
  • Maintain master data, reorder points and pricing in ERP
  • Maintain ABC and critical products with commercial team and review in the system
  • Product rationalisation execution
  • Provide country analysis & reports

Your Background

  • Strategic thinking and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Expertise in risk management and decision-making
  • Ability to influence and drive change
  • BI Cognos reporting or equivalent
  • ERP- supply chain
  • Must be able to work well under pressure
  • Several years of experience in supply chain and operations
  • Report and data analysis experience
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication
