Job description

GoTeam is in search of a Wordpress Developer (Print Management System) to join an Au-based client which is a printing manufacturing firm! Responsibilities:

  • Configure and customize PrintSmith software to meet specific company needs, ensuring optimal performance in managing print production workflows.
  • Develop and implement workflows within PrintSmith to automate processes such as job tracking, scheduling, and invoicing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to PrintSmith, providing support to end-users and collaborating with IT when necessary.
  • Integrate PrintSmith with other software systems (e.g., accounting, CRM, ERP) to ensure smooth data transfer and operational efficiency.
  • Create custom reports, dashboards, and templates within PrintSmith to provide valuable insights into production performance, costs, and job tracking.
  • Train staff on the effective use of PrintSmith, providing guidance on best practices and ensuring proper system utilization.
  • Monitor and evaluate system performance, recommending upgrades or changes to improve functionality.
  • Work with external vendors and PrintSmith support teams to address complex issues and implement updates or patches as required.
  • Maintain documentation for PrintSmith configurations, customizations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Stay updated on new features and updates to PrintSmith, implementing enhancements to improve business operations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience working with print management software. Experience in the print industry and familiarity with print production processes.
  • Knowledge of related print management systems and their integrations.
  • At least with experience in Wordpress or a Wordpress developer.
  • Proficiency in any print management software setup and customization.
  • Strong knowledge of databases, scripting, and system integrations.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing effective solutions to ensure minimal disruption to production workflows.
  • Accuracy in configuring the software and ensuring data integrity within the system.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with teams, train end-users, and communicate technical details effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and software implementations, adhering to timelines and business objectives.
  • Certification or training in PrintSmith software is a plus.
