Estimator (Commercial)

What Are We Looking For

MultiplyMii is in search of a Commercial Estimator who will be working with our client based in the United States. Our client is the go-to commercial painting contractor for office buildings, retail locations, restaurants, hotels, places of worship, and many other business centers. In this role, you will be responsible for providing cost estimates for the construction of various segments the client currently services in.

Beyond your experience, we are also looking for someone who is upbeat, organized, detail-oriented, and possesses impeccable English language communication skills in both written and verbal.

This role is 100% work from home.

In This Role, You Will

• Read construction drawings and complete accurate take-offs.
• Maintain unit pricing and database for material and labor costing.
• Ensure timely submission and follow up of tenders.
• Collaborate with the client to maintain a steady flow of drawings to produce take offs.
  
  

About You

Core qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience as an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor, or similar role
• Experience working in a commercial painting company
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and related documents.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Procore or any similar tool.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining accuracy.
• Quality conscious and detail-oriented
  
  

Advantageous

• Experience with Togal.AI is preferred, or a strong willingness to learn and adapt to Togal.AI technology.
• Has prior experience working in the construction industry
• Experience working with companies based in the US
• Licensed Engineer / Architect
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Experience in managing industrial and architectural projects

• Analytical: Proficiency in analyzing data, including labor, materials, subcontractor bids, and other expenses, to generate comprehensive estimates and proposals.
• Goal-Oriented: Driven to meet deadlines and deliver accurate estimates and bids within specified timelines.
• Confident: Demonstrates confidence in estimating tasks, bid preparation, and communication with stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
