About The Role

This role is part of our Customer Success team. Customer success is central to the company's growth plans and is the core differentiator between ParallelDots and competitors in the market. Technical acumen in Excel and databases is crucial. You'll need to be proficient in advanced Excel functions like VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and preferably have experience with macros and VBA scripting. A solid understanding of database management principles and experience working with large datasets will be essential as you coordinate with technical teams to deliver insights and ensure accurate data reporting.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and implement all change requests from clients, ensuring database integrity and the smooth flow of data across systems.
  • Deliver all client requirements throughout the course of the project, leveraging Excel and database tools to track progress and report on performance.
  • Support Customer Success Managers (CSMs) in delivering ROI to the client through effective use of Excel and database management tools.
  • Help CSMs improve project operations and overall efficiency by developing data-driven solutions using advanced Excel functions and database insights.
  • Maintain high standards of data quality using database management and Excel for accurate processing.
  • Ensure the reliability and integrity of data reported to clients by regularly reviewing database structures and verifying calculations using advanced Excel techniques.

Skills And Qualifications

Technical Proficiency:

  • Expertise in advanced Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and preferably macros or VBA scripting.
  • Experience with database management systems and handling large datasets is preferred.
  • Ability to work with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent to process and present data effectively.
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and APIs for integrating and managing customer data flows.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Asana, or Trello, with a focus on agile workflows.

Experience & Problem-Solving

  • Experience in AI, machine learning, or other tech-driven projects, with a proven ability to quickly learn and understand data management and technical environments.
  • Experience working with interdisciplinary teams (engineering, data science, operations) to coordinate and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Prior experience in startups or fast-paced environments is highly preferred, with a willingness to take on challenging projects requiring strong Excel and data management skills.

Soft Skills & Communication

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, especially when coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet client requirements using data insights.
  • Diligence and reliability in meeting client deliverables on time, using data tracking and reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
