3D modeler (m/f/n)

For our customer in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, we are looking for a 3D modeler (m/f/n) to support our customer in the context of 3D rendering.

As a pearlescent pigment manufacturer, we use 3D rendering to digitally visualize what our pigments will look like in various applications. For that, we currently use different 3D objects, where we can apply .axf files holding the appearance of our pigments. To expand our rendering portfolio, we need to show a high level of surface quality that enable renderings and colors to stand out in the best possible manner. Usually we work with high-resolution models supplied in .fbx, .step, .obj or similar formats.

Our preferred modeling technique would be Maya or similar. The development of such shapes would start with a creative briefing, various development reviews to create an outstanding premium design. The new objects need to be created according to the creative briefing.

All 3D-objects must feature some areas to include our company logo. Please consider that when modelling and provide blank branding areas in each object.

The ideal candidate would have a solid design record in the automotive field. Please provide some references of your work as digital portfolio with the application.

Deliverables: All rights on the new models and the final project files will be transferred to the customer after the project. Deliverables include high resolution 3D-object files in various file formats (as stated above) and preview renderings of models during design iterations.
