Your New Company

This consultancy business specialising in tax, accounting, and finance use their knowledge and expertise to provide a range of tax services to their clients. Customers range from small independent firms to those in the Top 100 and the breadth of tax matters this business support with is extremely varied and technically challenging. This is a great opportunity to become a member of the Tax Advisory team and provide advisory services on a variety of mainly direct tax matters.

Your new role

Within your new role, you will work within a very supportive team of advisors and consultants assisting customers with their tax queries over the phone and via email. You will be providing these customers with full and factually correct Tax advice, completing research to ensure your guidance is in line with current Tax legislation and ensuring your answers are well and clearly communicated. You will have access to excellent, industry-leading resources and will be supported by hugely knowledgeable managers and colleagues. Alongside your work, you will also be seeking and identifying new business development opportunities. Additionally, this is a role offering a regular working pattern, no overtime and no timesheets!

What You'll Need To Succeed

In order to be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate good tax knowledge across a range of aspects of UK taxes gained through your work experience – this could be from within a UK practice, tax role in industry or HMRC. Excellent communication skills will be essential. Relevant tax/accountancy qualifications (part or full) would be preferred, although those who are qualified by experience may also be considered. You will enjoy problem-solving and researching tax matters to provide accurate advice and will be keen to develop yourself further.
