Job Description

As a Senior Accountant you will utilise your expertise and work directly with managers and partners to deliver high quality services and advice to clients to clients. As a Senior Business Services Accountant you will be responsible for:

Preparation of financial statements
Preparation of tax returns and advising on taxation strategies
Being the primary point of contact for a range of clients across industries
Liaising with the ATO and other external stakeholders
SMSF compliance
Involving in team training and mentoring with responsibilities to help grow the team's knowledge and contribute to the business as a whole.

The Successful Applicant

Role

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role within public practice. Moreover, it is vital you have a proven track record building and nursing client relationships. The successful Senior Accountant will meet the following criteria:

CA or CPA qualified
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within public practice
Expertise in accounting, taxation and SMSF's
Demonstrated experience in a client facing role
Excellent inter-personal skills
