Job description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Country Manager to drive growth with mobile carriers in South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with local carriers, leveraging existing connections to manage relationships and generate business opportunities. This fully remote role will require you to work closely with the leadership team, lead the sales process, and deliver tailored solutions in the mobile and telecommunications space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with local mobile carriers in South Africa.
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities that align with company objectives and carrier requirements.
  • Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring smooth commercial negotiations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare presentations, proposals, and technical demonstrations for mobile carrier partners.
  • Analyze market trends and performance data to make strategic decisions and recommendations.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the South African mobile landscape to identify key growth opportunities.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within the mobile/telecom industry, specifically with mobile carriers.
  • Strong existing connections and relationships with South African mobile carriers.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written, verbal, and presentation).
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to negotiate and close deals.
  • Understanding of mobile technology, solutions, and carrier billing.
  • Self-motivated with a consultative approach and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Based in SA
