Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to become an integral part of our team. In this critical role, you will be tasked with the configuration and installation of diverse network devices and services, which include routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and Quality of Service (QoS) settings. Your expertise will also extend to routine network maintenance and system upgrades, ensuring optimal functionality and security of our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and install a variety of network devices and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and QoS settings.
  • Conduct regular network maintenance and system upgrades, involving the application of service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain awareness of industry advancements and technologies to continuously improve network performance and security.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in configuring and installing network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Knowledge of load balancers, VPNs, and QoS settings.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to address network challenges.
  • Ability to remain current with emerging industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

  • A Department of Defense clearance is mandatory, or you must be willing to apply for certification within 6 months of hire.
