Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Technical Project Manager to take a lead role in delivering complex SAP initiatives in a remote work environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing technical requirements and ensuring successful project execution within the SAP ecosystem. Your contributions will be vital in orchestrating seamless integrations and optimizing project resources.

Key Responsibilities

Spearhead SAP projects from inception through to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and business goals.
Oversee the integration processes between SAP systems and external applications, guaranteeing efficient data flow and system performance.
Manage and sustain multiple SAP environments, including development, testing, and production, to achieve operational stability.
Direct and guide technical teams, strategically allocating resources and collaborating with cross-functional departments.
Cultivate strong partnerships with stakeholders, functional teams, and senior executives to foster a collaborative working atmosphere.
Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring that third-party services align with project objectives and quality standards.
Identify technical risks and devise mitigation strategies, developing contingency plans to address potential challenges.

Required Skills

8+ years of experience in SAP project management with a focus on technical elements.
Proven proficiency in SAP systems integration, particularly with external applications.
Strong expertise in managing SAP and non-SAP landscapes, including the administration of upgrades, patches, and releases.
Demonstrated capability in resource management, leading technical teams, and collaborating with various units.
Experience in managing vendor relations, particularly with third-party systems integrators and contractors.
Extensive knowledge of SAP modules and technologies such as Basis, ABAP, PI/PO, and other middleware.
Familiarity with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA implementation and integration.
Exposure to cloud-based SAP environments, including Azure and AWS.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and SAP Activate is advantageous.
Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or SAP Certification are preferred.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
A minimum of 8 years of pertinent experience in SAP project management is necessary.
