Remote Senior Functional Consultant for ITOM

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ITOM Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing state-of-the-art IT Asset Management (ITAM) solutions, leveraging your extensive expertise to architect, develop, and sustain a comprehensive ServiceNow CMDB that underpins vital ITSM processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Architecture: Craft and execute ITAM solutions that adhere to leading industry practices.
• CMDB Development: Construct and uphold a ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data integrity while supporting essential ITSM processes.
• Integrations: Create and implement seamless integrations between the ServiceNow CMDB and various asset management tools, vulnerability scanners, and discovery solutions.
• Hands-on ServiceNow: Exhibit advanced proficiency in implementing CMDB, CSDM, SAM, and Service Catalogs within the ServiceNow platform.
• Data Management: Enhance CI data updates through automated processes, discovery tools, and external data source integrations.
• Discovery Implementation: Spearhead the planning, design, and deployment of ServiceNow Discovery solutions.
• Data Modeling: Leverage in-depth knowledge of data modeling methodologies.
• Integration Expertise: Demonstrate experience in integrating Discovery with the ServiceNow CMDB and other relevant systems.
• ServiceNow Implementations: Showcase a proven history of successful ServiceNow implementations.
  
  

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience working with ServiceNow.
• Strong grasp of ServiceNow best practices and the most recent features.
• Demonstrated experience in integrating Discovery with ServiceNow CMDB and other platforms.
• Comprehensive understanding of data modeling techniques.
• Proficiency in implementing CMDB, CSDM, SAM, and Service Catalogs on ServiceNow.
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 years of experience within the IT industry.
• A solid record of successful ServiceNow implementations.
• Certifications: Certified System Administrator, CIS-ITSM, CIS-Discovery, CIS-HAM, with ITIL4 Foundations certification preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or a combination of relevant education and professional experience.
