Job Overview

We are actively seeking a driven and proficient Litigation Associate Attorney to augment our distinguished legal team in a flexible remote capacity. This role primarily focuses on Chancery Litigation within the realm of plaintiff securities, allowing candidates to operate from either Wilmington, DE, or New York City.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft various legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Assist in formulating case strategies through legal analysis and risk assessment.
  • Oversee discovery processes, including document reviews, preparation of discovery requests, and deposition preparations.
  • Engage collaboratively with partners, associates, and support staff to ensure effective case management and uphold client satisfaction.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and other legal matters as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and meticulous records of case activities, correspondence, and billing information.

Required Skills

  • Strong litigation experience, especially in corporate shareholder derivative litigation.
  • Exceptional research and writing abilities.
  • Effective oral communication skills.
  • Capacity to devise strategies and conduct detailed legal analyses.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law institution.
  • Active admission to the state bar and in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant litigation experience, preferably in corporate shareholder derivative litigation.
