Job Overview

We are seeking an innovative and dynamic Art Teacher/Assistant Director of Education to join our remote team. In this pivotal role, you will help foster an exciting and interactive learning atmosphere, combining a strong social dynamic with advanced techniques in contemporary art education. You will oversee a team of talented instructors, ensuring the maintenance of a vibrant school culture while enhancing creative student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly classes in various art forms, including digital art, drawing, painting, and mixed media, catering to students of diverse ages.
  • Monitor and document student progress and achievements throughout their artistic journey.
  • Implement and sustain effective management systems within the art studio to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Oversee the procurement, organization, and inventory management of art supplies while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Keep the digital lab equipped with the latest software, hardware, and educational tools to enhance learning.
  • Track expenses related to staffing and supplies, providing regular updates.
  • Communicate vital metrics related to student retention, attendance, and satisfaction levels.
  • Engage with prospective students and their families, ensuring a welcoming and informative experience.
  • Formulate and execute strategies aimed at improving student retention and overall satisfaction.
  • Assist with the implementation of local marketing initiatives, including events and community outreach.
  • Collaborate with local organizations to showcase student artwork and promote our school’s offerings.

Qualifications
