Job Overview

We are thrilled to collaborate with a nonprofit organization committed to promoting renewable energy in the search for an Administrative Assistant. This pivotal role supports C-suite executives and ensures the efficient functioning of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and process expense reports utilizing designated software (training will be provided).
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, lodging, and transportation, with availability for domestic and occasional international travel.
  • Organize meetings in Washington, D.C., overseeing all logistics including transportation and catering.
  • Prepare detailed travel agendas while ensuring all logistical elements are meticulously planned.
  • Optimize calendar management to enhance time efficiency and coordination.
  • Assist in the recruitment efforts for 1-2 open positions, including reviewing resumes and participating in candidate evaluations.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative support role.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in managing calendars and scheduling.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and adapt to shifting priorities.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience in administrative support, preferably within a nonprofit or similar environment.
