Junior PHP Developer (Laravel)

Remote – WFH (meeting in Southwest regional office twice a month)

Permanent, full time

Salary – up to £30k DOE

Due to their continued growth, they are now looking for a friendly and approachable Junior PHP Developer (with a focus on Laravel) to join their busy team. You will be a part of a multi-disciplinary, fast-growing company.

Junior PHP Developer (Laravel), the role:

Dealing with support tickets
Debugging issues to optimize performance
Optimizing code base and database queries
Managing web application using PHP/Laravel
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
Ensuring code quality through regular code reviews and documentation

Junior PHP Developer (Laravel), the person:

Previous, proven experience within a similar role
In-depth knowledge of Laravel
Proficient in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript
Familiar with Git and APIs (REST and SOAP)
Effective collaboration and communication skills
Curious and inquisitive
Accountable
Proactive with a “can-do” attitude

Desirable:

Knowledge of Linux and Ubuntu as well as DevOps principles
Experience of working with Agile principles
