UI/UX Engineer

What You Will Do:

• Develop information architectures, design interactive experiences and help conduct research to create services and products
• Wireframe ideas
• Simplify complicated sets of procedures into a simple UI Design
• Build out a self-service portal for all things related to Data
• Perform user research, concept design, prototyping and detail design.
• Grow as a thought leader, encourage, and facilitate discussion with executive audiences (with outputs which may include roadmap, strategic plan/deliverables/frameworks, short- and long-term goals).

Required

• Bachelor's degree or Technical Certificate.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Figma or similar wireframing tools.
• Strong ability to create rapid prototypes that simplify complex concepts.
• Demonstrated thought leadership and industry knowledge in your area of expertise.
• Proven ability to provide guidance and influence multiple teams across various initiatives and functional domains.

Desired:

• Python
• Front End Development in ReactJS is a nice asset.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed
• Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)
• Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
• Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment. 
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, the ability to tolerate fluorescent lighting, and the ability to adjust focus.
