Job Overview

Join a distinguished defense firm based in Los Angeles as a Senior Litigation Associate, where you will play a pivotal role in managing intricate litigation cases from inception through resolution. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while allowing you to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage complex litigation cases from initiation to conclusion.
  • Conduct discovery, represent the firm in court, draft legal briefs, and manage depositions.
  • Handle civil litigation cases with a concentration on soft intellectual property, business disputes, securities, and real estate issues.
  • Utilize relevant legal software to facilitate efficient case management.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate client records.
  • Respond to client inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Monitor client accounts and take appropriate actions as necessary.
  • Contribute to team success by achieving significant settlements.
  • Work autonomously on high-stakes matters, with optional participation in trials.

Required Skills

  • Valid license to practice law in California.
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation and claims administration.
  • Proven expertise in briefing and managing complex commercial litigation cases.
