Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Network Cyber Engineer, your expertise will be pivotal in the design, execution, and maintenance of our network architecture, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. Your responsibilities will include:

• Directing the planning and execution of various network projects.
• Providing technical leadership while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
• Designing, implementing, and managing sophisticated network solutions to support operational functions.
• Safeguarding the organization's computer systems and networks against security breaches and vulnerabilities.
• Leading the planning of network architecture, inclusive of hardware and software enhancements.
• Offering expert troubleshooting for network issues and devising effective resolutions.
• Collaborating with IT teams to enforce robust network security protocols.
• Conducting ongoing network performance assessments and optimizations.
• Mentoring junior engineers to elevate the team’s capabilities.
• Evaluating new technologies and recommending strategic improvements to network infrastructure.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation for network systems to ensure compliance and reference.
• Performing thorough network security evaluations and proposing remediation strategies.
• Monitoring network performance and integrity, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  
  

Required Skills

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Network Engineer or equivalent role in extensive environments.
• Proficiency across all domains of network engineering.
• Preferred minimum of 4 years in network architecture design and/or solution engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) and in scripting or coding (Python preferred).
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCNP, CISM, CISA, or CEH are preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of Fortinet Firewalls, Cisco Routers/Switches, and advanced networking technologies.
• Familiarity with multiple platforms including Cisco, Fortinet, F5, and cloud security solutions.
• Proven leadership abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and a strong aptitude for task automation.
  
  

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in network engineering or a similar capacity.
• Hands-on expertise in the design and implementation of LAN/WAN/IP architectures.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and security compliance standards.

Compensation And Benefits

• Competitive salary range of \(150,000-\)160,000, commensurate with skills and experience.
• Remote work flexibility (preferably based in California).
