Who are we looking for?

We seek a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Specialist to join our growing team. As a Sales Specialist at Katana Cloud Inventory, you will conduct product demos, facilitate discovery calls, and engage in outbound outreach to nurture and convert leads. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment and enjoys being a crucial part of the customer’s journey.

We are currently hiring for this role in the West Coast time zone.

What you’ll be doing
  • Conduct engaging product demos to potential clients, showcasing the unique features and benefits of Katana Cloud Inventory.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand the specific needs and challenges of prospective customers.
  • Implement outbound outreach strategies to generate and qualify leads for the sales pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, ensuring that the CRM system reflects the latest status of leads, opportunities, and customer accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to enhance lead generation efforts.
  • Utilize a variety of sales methodologies, including SPICED, Sandler, MEDDIC, SPIN, and Challenger, to drive successful sales outcomes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, ensuring a positive experience for potential clients.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor products, and market dynamics to position Katana Cloud Inventory in the market effectively.
What we’re looking for in you
  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in sales, with a specific focus on Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in conducting impactful product demos, leading effective discovery calls, and executing strategic outbound outreach in the SaaS industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with potential clients.
  • Proven self-motivation and results-driven mindset, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, specifically HubSpot or Salesforce, to effectively manage and track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to navigate evolving customer needs and industry trends.

Salary Range: $85-$95k base + commission
