Our department offers undergraduate programs in Mathematics, including concentrations in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, and Data Science.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver 12 credits per semester of introductory courses in statistics and mathematics.
• Facilitate summer bridge programs aimed at enhancing incoming students’ mathematical skills.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives such as curriculum development, coordination of service courses, and student success efforts.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong comprehension of statistics and mathematical concepts.
• Proficient in teaching a broad spectrum of undergraduate mathematics and statistics courses.
• Excellent communication and engagement abilities with students.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline.
• A minimum of 9 graduate-level credits in mathematics or statistics coursework is necessary.
• Preferred qualifications include college-level teaching experience in mathematics and/or statistics, along with demonstrable evidence of effective teaching.
