Job Title: Tenure-Track Instructor in Mathematical Sciences - Remote

Job Overview

We are thrilled to announce an opening for a Tenure-Track Instructor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences, specializing in Statistics and Mathematics. This position enables you to immerse yourself in a vibrant academic setting situated in the scenic Rocky Mountains. Our department offers undergraduate programs in Mathematics, including concentrations in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, and Data Science.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver 12 credits per semester of introductory courses in statistics and mathematics.
  • Facilitate summer bridge programs aimed at enhancing incoming students’ mathematical skills.
  • Contribute to departmental initiatives such as curriculum development, coordination of service courses, and student success efforts.

Required Skills

  • Strong comprehension of statistics and mathematical concepts.
  • Proficient in teaching a broad spectrum of undergraduate mathematics and statistics courses.
  • Excellent communication and engagement abilities with students.
  • Experience with curriculum design and supporting student success initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline.
  • A minimum of 9 graduate-level credits in mathematics or statistics coursework is necessary.
