Title: Sales Development Representative

Trimble is recruiting for a Sales Development Representative for the SketchUp team.

The Sales Development Representative is a member of the Trimble SketchUp direct sales team covering Architecture, Engineering and Construction Markets. This position combines building construction industry knowledge with sales skills to result in an aggressive growth of Trimble’s SketchUp Pro business. This person will have the knowledge, skill and positive attitude to find new SketchUp opportunities for the sales team to pursue. 

What You Will Do

This role involves addressing inquiries sparked by our advertising efforts, prospecting for potential customers within our target markets, and proactively making cold calls to identify potential leads. While not directly responsible for closing sales, you'll play a pivotal role by directing leads to inside and enterprise new logo sales teams to seal the deal. 

  • Outbound phone-based sales lead generation.
  • Handle incoming bot requests to our website, qualify, and route appropriately.  
  • Prospect for new and upsell opportunities by phone and email.
  • Follow Up on Leads and Requests in Salesforce.
  • Lead conversations with prospective buyers to advance understanding of SketchUp and wider Trimble solutions; identify early-stage opportunities
  • Identify Qualified Leads for the Sales Team, and communicate them to the sales rep.
  • Ensure quality and completeness of data in opportunity and account records, including account hierarchy
  • Drive tactical planning of quarterly sales promotions as assigned
  • Meet/Exceed assigned KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators).  

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • Previous experience with outbound phone-based account development, sales or customer service  ideally in enterprise software environment
  • Energetic, engaging, results-oriented professional with a passion for selling
  • Reliable Self-starter, ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability and confidence to interact positively and productively with decision makers at all levels 
  • Willingness to research and make a large volume of calls daily
  • Outstanding Time Management. 
  • Result oriented and goal focused.  
  • Service-oriented personality.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly oral/interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible and able to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM, email engagement strategies, and advanced Web search.

Target salary:

$20-$24 hourly
