Labcorp Genetics has an opening for a Remote-Based Genetic Counselor to provide telegenetic counseling services for Cancer and other specialties. Our genetic counselors providing telegenetic services enjoy the support of a team of genetic counselors and the flexibility of working from home. In this patient facing position, this individual will provide focused genetic counseling regarding genetic test results. This role will support multiple clients nationally.
Note: Location is flexible and candidate can reside anywhere in the US. Must be able to work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm local time zone.
In this job, you will:
- Provide genetic results counseling for multiple specialties including but not limited to cancer, cardiac, and pediatric
- Be able to engage in professional growth opportunities including abstracts and publications, physician education and other projects
- Have access to the expertise of a nation-wide organization of medical geneticists, biochemical and molecular geneticists, and over 100 counseling colleagues

Requirements:
- MA/MS in Human Genetics/Genetic Counseling
- ABGC/ABMG certification required
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a certified Genetic Counselor required
- 3 years of Cancer Genetic Counseling experience highly preferred
- Ability to obtain multi-state licensure

Pay Range: $85,000 – 120,000 / year
