Job description

Our client is seeking a talented and strategic Content Marketing Lead to join their growing team. As a skilled storyteller and content marketer, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing content strategies that align with business goals, resonate with the B2B SaaS target audience, and drive brand awareness. This role requires a strong ability to create thought-leadership content, manage go-to-market product launches, and ensure that the messaging reflects the excitement and value of their product and customers.

Location:

Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 5 PM CST

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement content marketing strategies that align with the company's business goals and engage the target audience through storytelling and thought leadership.

  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality content across various formats (e.g., blog posts, web pages, social media updates) with a focus on clearly conveying product value and customer success. Experience with video editing and infographic creation is advantageous.

  • Content Engine Management: Build and maintain a scalable content engine that consistently delivers valuable materials to the audience.

  • Go-to-Market Product Launches: Lead the content creation efforts for product launches, ensuring that the messaging aligns with the overall strategy and resonates with the target market.

  • Research & Trend Analysis: Conduct research to identify content gaps and opportunities, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in the B2B SaaS space.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with designers, writers, and subject matter experts to ensure all content is accurate, on-brand, and meets project deadlines.

  • Optimization & Reporting: Optimize content for search engines and social media platforms. Track key performance metrics and report on content success to drive continuous improvement.

  • Content Distribution: Manage content distribution channels, including email newsletters, social media, and third-party platforms, to increase reach and engagement.

  • Engaging Thought-Leadership: Delivery of thought-leadership content that resonates with the target audience, driving traffic and generating leads.

  • Optimized Content: Continuous improvement of content through SEO and performance tracking, ensuring high visibility and engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, content creation, and SEO targeting growth audiences.

  • Content Strategy Execution: Proven ability to develop and execute content strategies that drive business goals.

  • Storytelling & Writing: Exceptional storytelling and writing skills, capable of simplifying complex topics into digestible content.

  • Multichannel Content Creation: Experience with written copy and Canva or Figma for social media graphics; video editing experience is a plus.

  • Thought-Leadership Content: Strong understanding of SEO and creating engaging thought-leadership content that resonates with target audiences.

  • Product Launches: Proven success in managing content for product launches.

  • Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.

  • AI Familiarity: Familiarity with using generative AI for marketing is a strong plus.
