Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) is an international ISO 9001, 20000, 27001 Certified, CMMI Level 3 Rated full-service provider with more than 36 years’ experience in the Federal, Military, and Commercial Marketplaces. SRI is seeking committed and knowledgeable professionals to provide proposal support to our corporate office. This position is currently remote.

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Graphics Artist/Designer with experience in the federal government proposal environment. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting proposal development by producing high-quality graphics that effectively communicate complex information and comply with government requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of proposal best practices and federal acquisition processes, as well as the ability to translate technical data into compelling, easy-to-understand visuals.

Collaborate with proposal managers, technical writers, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop a variety of graphical elements that enhance the overall clarity and impact of our proposals.

Task & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design graphics for government proposals, including organizational charts, process flow diagrams, infographics, data visualizations, technical illustrations, and other visual aids.
  • Collaborate with proposal teams to conceptualize, design, and execute compelling graphics that enhance the clarity of the written content and align with the proposal’s strategy and compliance requirements.
  • Create and manage graphics templates and standards to ensure consistency across multiple proposals and ensure adherence to branding guidelines.
  • Revise and refine graphics based on feedback from proposal teams and compliance reviews, ensuring that all graphics are compliant with solicitation requirements (RFP/RFI).
  • Ensure all designs and graphics are compliant with Section 508 accessibility requirements, where applicable.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, working under tight deadlines to meet proposal submission dates.
  • Work with SMEs to convert technical content into visually appealing graphics that effectively communicate concepts to evaluators unfamiliar with the subject matter.
  • Stay updated on best practices for proposal graphics and continuously seek ways to innovate and improve the quality of graphics provided.
  • Assist in creating templates, presentations, and other proposal-related materials as needed.

Minimum Required Skills, Education, Experience & Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design, specifically supporting federal government proposals or a similar industry.
  • Strong proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Microsoft PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Proven ability to work with large volumes of technical data and convert it into clear, effective graphics.
  • Understanding of federal proposal processes, including familiarity with RFP/RFI requirements and compliance standards.
  • Experience with Section 508 compliance and knowledge of best practices in accessible design.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all deliverables.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
