Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of core APIs and SDKs that provide access to large language models (LLMs) and proprietary foundation models (FMs).
• Design APIs emphasizing performance, scalability, user-friendliness, and governance automation.
• Develop application-specific interfaces that improve both associate and customer interactions through LLMs and FMs.
• Equip users with intuitive tools and processes to foster new AI capabilities.
• Monitor API access patterns and operational health to ensure peak performance.
• Collaborate with researchers to integrate AI safety measures within the API framework.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficient programming background in Python, Go, Scala, or C/C++.
• Extensive experience in designing, building, and deploying machine learning applications.
• Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities in AI and machine learning-focused teams.
• Knowledge of API security, observability, and best practices for cloud access control.
• Proficiency in deploying large neural network models in production environments.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• A minimum of 8 years of programming experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and deploying machine learning applications.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in people management roles.
• At least 2 years of experience in mentoring and guiding AI-focused teams.
