Job description

We believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. We recognize that mental health issues can be complex and multifaceted, and we are dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.

We aim to create a world where mental health is no longer stigmatized or marginalized, but rather is embraced as an integral part of one's overall well-being.

We believe that by providing quality care that is both evidence-based and compassionate, we can empower individuals to take charge of their mental health and achieve their full potential. We are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with mental health issues and we strive to be a force for positive change in the field of mental healthcare.

About the Role

Rula has had incredible success building out our core behavioral health offering in Therapy, but in our mission to make mental healthcare work for everyone, we have barely scratched the surface. To ensure that the 70M Americans a year that try to find help, get that help, we need to expand mental health care delivery to serve as many of those 70M Americans as possible. This is where you come in.

We are seeking a Director to join our growing Provider Strategy & Operations team. This role will sit in the Supply Innovation pod, which focuses on standing up and scaling provider (supply) operations underpinning each new business line and care delivery model, then integrating processes & systems into core operations to scale.

The Director of Provider Strategy & Operations, Psychiatric Services will act as the General Manager (GM) of Supply for our national Psychiatric Services business, accountable for all supply/provider-related metrics (including acquisition, experience & satisfaction, retention, and more). This role will be tasked with scaling nascent processes & tooling to expand national operations, adapting our systems & offering to a changing regulatory environment, and driving complex cross-functional efforts to build a best-in-class provider experience for psychiatric providers nationwide.

  • 8+ years of experience in strategy & operations roles with at least 5 years of experience in process and/or product improvement in a high growth organization, for example: tech, consulting, or other fast moving environments

  • Experience independently owning quantified objectives and hitting hard goals, including identifying/developing key metrics, tying initiatives to key metric improvements, and working both independently and with cross-functional partners to achieve quantifiable goals

  • Demonstrated experience with leading cross-functional teams to stand up, optimize, and scale new processes and systems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Proficient with analysis, particularly in Excel /Gsheets. SQL preferred
