Job Title: SAP PP (PTM) Consultant - Remote

Location: Remote (USA)

Position Type: Long-term contract

Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned SAP PP Consultant to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing our production planning processes and optimizing resource utilization through advanced SAP solutions. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to impactful projects, and support the growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and configure SAP PP solutions aimed at improving capacity planning and production scheduling.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of production workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement effective solutions for optimization.
  • Establish and maintain product allocation processes within SAP, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Lead the implementation of the SAP PP module, managing all phases from requirement gathering to post-go-live support.
  • Collaborate effectively with teams in Sales & Distribution and Materials Management to ensure seamless integration across SAP modules.
  • Provide extensive training and support to end-users for maximizing the utility of SAP PP solutions.

Required Skills

  • Expertise in SAP PP configuration and customization.
  • Proficiency in capacity planning and scheduling methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of product allocation management and production planning control.
  • Familiarity with integration points between SAP PP and modules like SD, MM, and Advanced ATP.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience as an SAP PP Consultant, demonstrating a solid track record in capacity planning, scheduling, and product allocation.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP PP configuration and customization is essential.
  • SAP PP certification is preferred but not mandatory.
