What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Operations Program Manager to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency through effective vendor management, data analysis, contract negotiation, and project management. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our processes and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

What You'll Do

Data Analysis:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights for operational decisions, insights, and areas for improvement. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides), and preferred experience with programming languages (Python, R, SQL, etc.) 
  • Present data-driven findings to stakeholders, highlighting trends, forecasts, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Utilize data analysis tools to support decision-making and drive operational efficiency.

Project Management:

  • Manage cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate with various departments to align project goals with organizational objectives.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.

Vendor Management:

  • Research and identify potential vendors and service providers, conduct due diligence and evaluations, benchmark against relevant quality and service standards, and effectively communicate benefits to Local Operations teams.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best terms and pricing for the organization. Manage qualitative and quantitative factors relevant to the success of servicing AvantStay properties.
  • Monitor vendor performance through regular reviews and feedback sessions, addressing any issues promptly. Proactively optimize quality and cost standards to best service properties.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure all contracts and services align with company policies and compliance standards.
  • Monitor contract lifecycles, ensuring timely renewals and renegotiations as necessary.

Process Optimization:

  • Evaluate existing workflows and operational processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Make recommendations to improve end-to-end processes and impact to Owners, Guests, and internal stakeholders.
  • Design and implement process improvements, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Conduct regular process audits and assessments to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements

Your Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business operations, data analytics, procurement, or project management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation and management.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering results on time and within budget.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

Benefits

Compensation

  • $35,000-45,000 USD annually, paid twice per month - dependent on experience & location
  • Flexible workplace - work from anywhere outside the US
  • We are a hospitality company so we support our staff and guests 7 days a week. This role will require approximately 40 hours of  work per  week on a 5-days on, 2-days off schedule. Primary hours are Monday through Friday during US business hours.
