Job Overview

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Administrator & Billing Specialist to join our team in a remote capacity. This pivotal role will support our mission of delivering exceptional Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals with autism. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing client intake, scheduling appointments, processing billing, and ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations, thereby making a significant difference in the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee client management processes, including intake, scheduling, and referrals.
  • Prepare, submit, and diligently follow up on medical insurance claims with accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other pertinent healthcare regulations.
  • Assist in the recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding processes for new team members.
  • Identify and facilitate training and development needs for staff.
  • Contribute towards the development and optimization of operational systems and processes.
  • Serve as a liaison with government entities, non-profits, and community organizations.

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational capabilities and multitasking proficiency.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and behavioral management software.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in complex situations.
  • Keen attention to detail and adeptness at managing various priorities.
  • Familiarity with claims processing, medical terminology, and CPT/ICD-10 coding.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in medical billing, insurance claims, or a related field is essential.
