Key Responsibilities

• Engage in industry research and conduct actuarial analyses.
• Assist on special client projects focused on property and casualty insurance.
• Interact with clients in the capacity of an actuarial consultant.
• Gain practical experience in actuarial subjects that correspond with advanced CAS exam content.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with statistical software such as R or Python is a plus.
• Excellent communication abilities and effective time management to meet deadlines.
  
  

Qualifications

• Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, or a related discipline.
• A minimum GPA of 2.7 or a ‘Pass’ in a Pass/Fail grading system.
  
  

Compensation And Benefits

The hourly wage for this role ranges from \(18 to \)23, reflecting our commitment to competitive compensation for our interns.
