As part of the Data Stewardship & Reporting (DSR) team, the Colleague Facing Colleagues (CFC) Performance Reporting Product Owner role aims to utilize the power of data to create robust products for sales colleagues worldwide. It will play a crucial part in outlining and delivering the vision for enhanced capabilities that allow sales colleagues and leadership to leverage data in an intuitive, simple, and streamlined manner.

This role will be responsible for managing the product roadmap for key products that enable our Colleague Facing Colleagues and leadership to utilize data in their daily activities, leading to meaningful engagements, improved decision-making, and better business outcomes.

The product owner oversees the innovation and launch of products. They collaborate closely with commercial partners and customers to develop a roadmap and efficiently bring products from concept to market. They work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including analytics, design, engineering, and user enablement. The product owner utilizes data insights to create valuable products for customers. They also stay up-to-date with industry best practices in product management and establish an agile and adaptable process for product development.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Vision and Roadmap

  • Responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch of products.

  • Collaborates with global commercial services partners and customers to co-develop a roadmap and drive products and features from concept to launch in a fast-paced environment.

  • Works with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement.

  • Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks.

  • Partners with stakeholders and customers across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.

  • Develops, owns, and executes product roadmap.

  • Works with user-focused departments to define the self-service user experience, support, and monitoring for customers.

  • Partners with sales departments to define the user experience for internal users, including support and monitoring.

Product Management and Execution

  • Leads the product UI designs, including but not limited to sketching, wireframing, user research, etc.. based on an intimate knowledge of user journey.

  • Partner with Pfizer Digital in the technical development of the product functionalities and features according to roadmap and backlog priorities.

  • Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.

  • Establishes standard ways of working to ensure consistency in deliverable templates and definition. Manages change control and KPI catalog for the product.

  • Defines and executes go-to-market plan, working to ensure that product management, marketing, and sales have what they need to be successful.

  • Develops and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment.

Product Promotion and Training Content

  • Collaborates with subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop engaging and effective training materials, including presentations, videos, and interactive e-learning modules.

  • Ensures that training content is up-to-date and reflects the latest product features and capabilities.

  • Outlines a plan to deliver training to customers, partners, and employees, using a variety of methods, including in-person, virtual, and on-demand.

  • Evaluates the effectiveness of training and continuously improves training content based on feedback from participants.

  • Maintains a repository of training materials and makes them easily accessible to the target audience.

Backlog Prioritization and Management

  • Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that the team is working on the most valuable features.

  • Work in an Agile environment and continuously review the business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks.

  • Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.

Product Communications

  • Goals and Objectives: Clearly define the goals and objectives of the communication plan.

  • Target Audience: Identify the target audience and tailor the message accordingly.

  • Key Messages: Develop key messages that effectively convey the information to the target audience.

  • Communication Channels: Select the most appropriate communication channels to reach the target audience.

  • Timeline: Develop a timeline for the communication plan, including milestones and deadlines.

  • Responsibilities: Assign responsibilities to team members for the execution of the communication plan.

  • Evaluation: Establish a process for evaluating the effectiveness of the communication plan and making necessary adjustments.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required. Masters (or equivalent) preferred in business intelligence discipline.

  • 10+ years' experience in Biopharma, analytics, strategic consulting, business, or related area

  • Strong understanding of pharma commercial data and operations.

  • Proven track record of delivering business performance.

  • Experience leading functional areas and leading innovation/transformation.

  • Drive for optimization/excellence and delivery of exceptional customer services and experiences.

  • Demonstrated agility and ability to drive program completion in expedited timelines.

  • Demonstrated success in a highly fast-paced setting and analytical capabilities and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to influence without authority, setting business direction, priorities, and action plans.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with cross-functional teams of diverse colleagues

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken). Multi-lingual would be an asset.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Strong creative thinking to outline future state products that accelerates and elevates the capabilities.

  • Strong skills to develop flexible, adaptable reporting solutions as products that synthesize and tell “the story” to commercial leadership and scale across markets/Bus.

  • Familiar with modern approaches to data visualization and data storytelling to help all CFCs to use data intuitively in their day-to-day decision making.

  • Proven skills to drive operational excellence to drive simplification, efficiency, and innovation through our operational processes.

  • Ability to assess and manage risks in the delivery process.

  • Ability to be flexible, prioritize multiple demands, deal with ambiguity, and lead teams through complex and challenging cross-functional projects.

  • Proficient in strategic data management: organizing and understanding complex data sets from diverse sources.

  • Proven ability to act as a strategic partner with the capacity to quickly establish relationships of trust, credibility, and be seen as a driving partner to senior leadership.

  • Ability to identify, prioritize and describe relevant caveats and uncertainties in data, including how they relate to the business question and broader strategic priorities.

  • Previous demonstrated Business / Financial acumen.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $149,200.00 to $248,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
